Jeniang, Kedah, Malaysia.  Metroxylon sagu Rottb. Arecaceae. CN: [Malay - Pokok sagu, Rembia], Sago palm. Native of Indo-China, Thailand, Malesia ecozone, Fiji and found in lowland forest and freshwater swamps. In some suitable areas the plant is cultivated as a source of starch.
